Beginning Genealogy Class
Students will learn basic genealogical research principals and techniques as
well as proper recording and note taking. The resources valuable to genealogists
in historical societies, genealogical societies, libraries, the internet, and
the Family History Library of the Church of Latter Day Saints will be discussed.
A variety of materials will be displayed, explained and analyzed such as: census
records, city/county histories and directories, genealogies, indexes, maps and
miscellaneous collections. The proper use of primary and secondary materials
and copy-write observance will be included. The cost of the class is $30 for
non-members of the Museum and $15 for Museum members.

Music at the Museum
It’s back! Enjoy three floors of live music, catered food, and entertainment.
In addition, there will be tasting stations, entertainment and guests will have

Magic Workshop
Come to The History Museum to learn magic tricks and illusions with magician
Lou Lepore’. Keep kids engaged on this school in-service day. Great for
kids aged 8-13. Workshop is $12/ child. Price includes all magic materials,
a snack and admission to A.K.A. Houdini. Contact
