Call to Duty: Outagamie County in World War II

Rita Kugler

Joseph kept the photo of Rita, on the right, in his wallet while he served in the Aleutian Islands. Her parents, Michael Jr. and Leona, gave her a Women's Auxiliary Army Corps (WAAC) uniform as a symbol of patriotism.
