Mochida Family
The
US government held the Mochidas and thousands of Japanese-American
families in relocation centers during the war. The War Relocation
Authority ran centers in California, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming,
Colorado, and Arkansas. Internees harvested crops by day and lived
in camps surrounded by guards and barbed wire at night.
