The Celebration of Fourth of July in the Fox Valley

Fox City is going to celebrate the Fourth July. There are plenty of ways to celebrate it. There are Concerts, from fireworks to parades, to picnic and even a 4-mile run.

Cary Park: Fest and fireworks
The summer celebration in the Cary Park district will be held at Lions Park. At 7:30 pm, the evening will begin, and foods and beverages can be available for buying on-site. The Park will be open for people at 6:30 pm. Entrance is free, however parking will hold $5 for grass and $10 for pavement.

Aurora: Fireworks
The event will be held at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, Sullivan Road, Aurora. Food vendors, kids’ activities and music starts 5 pm; fireworks at dust. Admission is free.

Batavia: Concert and fireworks:
The city of Batavia is going to host the popular 4th of July fireworks productions, known the “Sky Concert”. Savor-the-Flavor food vendors will serve from 5 pm to 9:30 pm until the show begins. The band Automatic Fixx will inebriate from 7 pm to 9:15 and then the main attraction Sky Concert will start at 9:30 pm after the welcome by mayor.

Public parking will be available at high school parking lots, Ace hardware parking lot and at several major retail lots along the Randall Road. Parking each car will hold $5.

The Old Gold Cruisers is going to host the 8th annual Fourth of July Car Show at Raddant Road in Batavia. Registration is available for $5.

Sleepy Hollow: Festival and fireworks
The Sleepy Hollow Service Club is going to starts its Fourth of July fireworks and festival at 8 am with a fun run of 1-mile starting at the Sleepy Hollow Elementary School. The festival will feature games, food, a dunk tank, pie-eating contest, live music performance and other entertainment throughout the afternoon. Fireworks will begin at 7 pm.
