Music at the MuseumMusic at the Museum

Join us on October 11th, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. -10:00 p.m. and enjoy three floors of live music, great food, and entertainment.

Main Level

The smooth sounds of the Appleton Jazz group, The Cully Swanson Trio, and hors d'ouevres from Michiels Fox River Banquets will start the evening off right.

Have your fortune read in the National Award Winning exhibit, The Times They Are A-Changin’ and enjoy music from the 1960's performed by Milwaukee trio, Dangerous Folk.

Lower Level

Learn about the history of wine, beer and cheese making in the Fox Valley and enjoy "Funky Folk Rock" from guitarist and singer Cory Swadley from Madison, WI.

Take yourself back to the Roaring Twenties. Try on vintage hats from the era and pose by the Model-T for a souvenir photograph.

Wine tasting sponsored by McKnight and Carlson Wines, locally made cheese samples courtesy of Simons Specialty Cheese, and beer tasting from Stone Cellar Brewery.

Ogilvie Hall (Upper Level)

The Lee Tomboulian Quartet from Appleton, WI will open playing a variety of Jazz arrangements. The 10 member horn ensemble, Madisalsa, from Madison, WI will later take the stage playing performing contemporary and Latin-influenced music that is guaranteed to please.

Try to break out of jail, and shack off shackels in AKA Houdini and witness up-close magic by local performer, Lou Lepore.
