Call to Duty: Outagamie County in World War II

Grimburg

The Army ordered Vogt to capture the city of Grimburg on the east bank of the Saar river at 9:00 pm on March 16, 1945. He got lost and arrived at the city five hours later. He found a German SS officer asleep. He woke him up and forced him and his unit to give up without a fight. Vogt received a Bronze Star for the capture of Grimburg.
