Hickam
Field
Robert
Verbeten worked as a radio man at Hickam Field. The Japanese destroyed
the field's airplanes and hangers, but missed Verbeten's radio station.
Verbeten believes that the battleship U.S.S. Nevada shot down a
Japanese war plane headed for his station.
